Spanish Detours


Terms & Conditions

DEPOSIT
A 20% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. For bookings made 2 months or less prior to arrival, full payment is required when making the reservation.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE
The balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to departure.

ADDITIONAL PICK UP/DROP OFFS
For additional pick ups and drop offs there will be a surcharge of 50 Euros per trip.

CANCELLATION
If for any reason you are forced to cancel your holiday prior to the payment of the balance, you will lose your deposit but you will no longer be liable for that balance. However, should you need to cancel following payment of all monies Spanish Detours will not be liable for a refund. (Please see section on insurance.)

INSURANCE
Holiday insurance is compulsory. It is the responsibility of all those booking with Spanish Detours to effect their own insurance and to take out adequate cover. Spanish Detours accepts no responsibility for any losses, damages, injury, illness or death and will not be held responsible for any costs incurred by clients who have failed to arrange such insurance.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €100 euros per party to be held as security against damages to any part of the property, vehicle or belongings owned by Spanish Detours. This is payable upon arrival and refunded upon departure.

FLIGHTS
It is your responsibility to book and pay for your return flights from your country to either Malaga or Granada airports. You are obliged to advise us of your flight numbers and scheduled times together with any subsequent changes to these.

LINEN
All linen and house towels are provided and changed weekly. We do not provide beach towels.

HEATING CHARGES
All heating is included in the price, apart from wood for the open fire, however a starter pack will be provided.

EXTRAS
A welcome pack will be provided at no extra charge. Extra cleaning services can also be arranged at a cost.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
You are responsible for leaving the accommodation clean and in good order and must undertake to pay for any damage or missing items. All rubbish must be disposed of.

LOSS OF KEYS
Should you lose keys or lock yourself out of the accommodation, spare keys can be collected from Spanish Detours and a charge will be made to replace the key.

CHANGES TO ITINERARY
If for any reason, beyond the control of Spanish Detours, access to any given area of interest is not possible, i.e. restoration, security, public holidays etc., Spanish Detours cannot be held responsible.

TERMINATION OF RENTAL
If, in our opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority, you or any member of your party are behaving in such a way as to cause or to be likely to cause distress, danger, harm to others, or damage to property, we reserve the right at all times to cancel or terminate holiday arrangements with out notice. Should this situation arise, our responsibilities towards the person(s) concerned will immediately cease and we will not be obliged to cover any expenses incurred by the person(s) concerned and neither will we consider or accept any claims for compensation or refunds whatsoever. If for any reason you wish to terminate the contract due to dissatisfaction with our service you must give valid reasons and produce relevant evidence. If Spanish Detours are in agreement, they must then be given the opportunity to resolve the matter in hand. Failure to allow this rescinds all rights to a refund.
